The Brief
Intercontinental London – The O2 opened in December 2015. This exciting new hotel is located a stone’s throw from the O2 with stunning views of Canary Wharf and has a vibrant, eclectic mix of venues within it; The Meridian Lounge, The Clipper Bar, Eighteen Sky Bar, Market Brasserie and Peninsular Restaurant. A luxury, modern hotel, it required an expert florist to sympathetically enhance the individual nature of each space.
The Solution
Working with the colour palette and style of each different area of the hotel was key. Our florists visited the site to decide which types of flowers would work best and spent time selecting the right styles of vases to set off the interior designs, keeping a theme flowing throughout each area.
Each week new designs are thoughtfully planned, including matching displays for reception, numerous bud vases for dining areas, purple and cream themed arrangements for the Peninsular Restaurant and a grand arrangement for the Clipper Bar. In the Market Brasserie, an informal dining room, we provide a rustic display and pots of fresh herbs.
