We are committed to delivering our services more sustainably while creating a workplace where people can thrive. We also recognise that sustainability is a growing priority for our clients, and we work to develop solutions that support their own environmental and social goals.

Sustainable Planters

We can offer the most sustainable pots and containers including: Pots made 100% from recycled waste, pots made using 100% wind energy, pots made from recycled materials including marine debris, artificial grass, textiles and more

Sustainable Plant Sourcing

Plant selection plays an important role in sustainability.

We work with carefully selected growers and supply partners to help reduce transport impact, improve supply resilience, and support more responsible sourcing practices.

Peat-free substrate

We plant all our interior plants in Ecoponic. This is a 100% peat-free, sustainable alternative to soil.

Using it helps protect our vulnerable peatlands, saving our wildlife and reducing carbon loss.

It also stores water very efficiently - reducing the amount of water used.

Walking technicians

While electric and hybrid vehicles are better for the environment, we know we can do more.

Our ‘walking technicians’ operate on foot and public transport only and are supported by a single shuttle which brings any replacement plants or equipment.

This saved over 125,000 miles of van travel in 2025 alone.

Supporting Charity

We’re proud to partner with A Good Thing, a non-profit organisation that connects surplus items to charities that can put them to good use. And with Discovery Outdoors, an organisation who brings improved wellbeing and outdoor learning to schools and children.

Through these partnership, we support a variety of charities, community groups and growing projects by providing planting items.

Zero to Landfill

We operate a zero-to-landfill headquarters.

3 billion plastic plant grow pots are uses each year in the Netherlands alone.

Most planting companies say they are too difficult to recycle. We disagree.

100% of grow pots that come through our nursery are recycled.

Ecovadis accreditation

Our EcoVadis accreditation provides independent assessment of our sustainability performance across areas including environment, ethics, labour and human rights, and responsible procurement. It helps benchmark our progress and supports continuous improvement across the business.

Science Based Targets

Our commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) helps ensure our carbon reduction goals are aligned with the latest climate science.

It provides a clear framework for reducing emissions across our operations and supports our long-term approach to environmental responsibility and accountability.

ISO 9001 & ISO 14001

Our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations reflect our commitment to quality, consistency, and environmental responsibility. They provide independent assurance that our processes, service delivery, and environmental management systems are regularly assessed against internationally recognised standards.

ISO 14064-1

ISO 14064-1 provides a recognised framework for measuring and reporting greenhouse gas emissions. It helps ensure our carbon reporting is consistent, transparent, and based on internationally recognised standards.

Living Wage Employer

As an accredited Living Wage Employer, we are committed to paying wages that reflect the real cost of living. It forms part of our wider approach to supporting our people, creating stable employment, and building a responsible, sustainable business.

Provide Biophilic Design and Planting in the Workplace

We believe that the future of the workplace is all about creating people-centric spaces and ensuring the wellbeing of staff. Numerous studies (such as the Three Field Experiments and The Economics of Biophilia) show that biophilic design which includes planting, create positive emotions, reduce stress and absenteeism, and improve productivity and creativity.

Attracting, Retaining and Engaging Talent

Organisations want to create working environments that represent who they are and what they stand for. Adding beautiful planting to the office improves its aesthetics, helping attract, retain, and engage staff. For example, the sick building syndrome, which means that people can experience health issues when they spend too much time indoors, could be avoided by bringing the outside in. Staff also performs better when plants are added to the workplace, and people are becoming more aware of working environments when choosing a new job as well.
