Christmas Sustainability
All live trees supplied are UK grown.
The Christmas Trees supplied from our supplier’s farms are classed as Horticultural Crops, grown for the very purpose of being cut down, no deforestation.
All the trees that are harvested will be replaced with at least 2 more trees, ensuring a healthy supply of trees going forward.
Each tree on average remains in the ground for 5 – 10 growing seasons, creating a stable environment for the support of wildlife including native birds.
All Decorations, Artificial Trees, Wreaths & Garlands are re-used for as many years as possible.
We supply our trees in delivery & collection slots allowing us the flexibility to create the most efficient routes during our delivery and collection periods. This enables us to keep the carbon footprint and miles travelled to a minimum.
Post season, our trees are given to local farmers for natural wildlife cover in their woodlands or chipped to use as mulch back on farmlands, dried for animal bedding or used as a fuel for heating.
(One very famous Zoo is a grateful beneficiary of some of the Christmas trees every year)
