Response to Covid-19

Announcement for Current Clients 26 March 2020

Dear Client

I hope that you and all your staff are safe and well.

During these unprecedented times, we at Planteria are continuing to take proactive measures to ensure that our staff and our clients are protected in the best way at all times.  We are also committed to doing all we can to help suppress the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the UK and globally.

Following the government announcement on Monday night, we fully realise it is essential to minimise travel and interactions.  Therefore, we have taken the business decision to cease all plant maintenance visits for now and will continue to monitor the government’s updates and guidelines.  We’d like to thank all those who have already approached us and to those that have provided the access to your office so far, however these new measures are critical in helping to save human lives, which is our first and foremost consideration.  If you receive fresh flowers from us, you will have already been communicated to separately.

We are also committed to preserve the health of your plants and minimise plant replacements as much as possible, and so we will be issuing some training videos on how to care for your plants during this period.  It would be if great someone (even the security team) could attend to the plants and follow these training tips as this will substantially reduce the replacement costs when things return to normal.  It would also be advantageous if some lights could be kept on, especially in darker areas/offices and if possible ensure the temperature in the office does not to fall below 14 degrees centigrade.

We are keeping our helpdesk fully operational so if you have any questions at all please get in touch service@planteriagroup.com.  We are here to give advice on watering and plant maintenance through video call if required.

We are pleased to announce that we will reduce our rental charges by 50% for the duration of this suspension period providing you savings through this difficult time whilst still allowing us to survive and fulfil our obligations to staff, and rental commitments.  There is likely to be some plant failure during this period and we may need to charge something to cover the cost of these.  However, do take advantage of our training videos and the service helpdesk to help minimise these costs.

We would like to thank you very much for your valued business and support in these unchartered times.  We are all in this together and it is at times like this that bring us closer together as a nation.
