The Brief

The architects of this refurbishment project identified large areas on the Ground Floor for interior landscaping and plants, including reception, restaurant and lounge areas.

The Solution

We utilised the wide spaces available to create natural ‘forests’ in the lobby, and mirrored this around the restaurant and seating areas. Two large containerised Dracaena Reflexa trees featured in the walkway and waiting area, planted in large white ‘flower pot’ style containers to echo the structural architecture. The deep greens contrast beautifully with the stark clean lines, and white tiles and walls. The planting and Chinese black polished cobble perfectly marry with the wooden flooring, bringing elements of nature to the modernity of this building. The results are an interior that is both tranquil and stunning.
