  • Interior Field Service Technician - Stoke on Trent area

    Field Service Technician – Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Warrington, Telford, Stafford area

    This role focuses on looking after our plants in client offices. Our technicians provide excellent customer service and are knowledgeable about the maintenance and care of office plants.

    This is an independent role which involves taking ownership for plant maintenance at several client sites, on a 3 week rota. This may involve driving between towns and cities on a regular basis. Technicians are part of a regional team of like-minded plant specialists who meet regularly both online and in person.

    • Maintain to a high standard internal plant displays at a number of client sites every day
    • Provide excellent customer service, including completing site reports and maintaining accurate data in our company systems
    • Work with your line manager and scheduler to ensure all rounds are completed efficiently and accurately
    • Work safely and in line with all risk assessments and method statements

    Requirements

    • Able to navigate cities in a company van
    • Comfortable working independently but able to share knowledge and information with the wider team

  • Marketing Content Creator

    Marketing Content Creator – Part time 20 hours

    The Marketing Content Creator will create visual designs and written content for sales and marketing materials like documents, emails, brochures, etc. They will also manage the Planteria website, social media, photography, and videography.

    1. Designing and Crafting Compelling Content: Take ownership of designing and crafting content for all sales and marketing collateral, including documents for sales to send to customers, e-shots, brochures, and more. Ensure that all content is visually appealing, on-brand, and effectively communicates key messages.
    2. Central Point of Contact for Design Needs: Serve as the main point of contact for all internal design requests, providing colleagues with expert assistance in creating documents, leaflets, brochures, and other materials. Collaborate closely with the design team to understand their requirements and deliver high-quality designs that meet their needs.
    3. Website and Social Media Management: Execute minor updates to the company website and social media platforms, including creating graphics and maintaining a gallery of images. Ensure that all online content is engaging, relevant, and reflects the brand’s identity effectively
    4. In-House Photography and Videography: Take charge of in-house photography and videography tasks, including product photography (e.g., flower bouquets), editing pictures and videos, and producing internal training materials. Maintain high standards of visual content to enhance the brand’s image and support marketing initiatives.
    5. Diverse Marketing Initiatives: Spearhead marketing projects, such as arranging plant giveaway events, coordinating Christmas hampers, and other promotional activities. Contribute creative ideas and strategic input to ensure the success of marketing campaigns and events.

       

    • Graphic Design Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint & Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) to create visually compelling designs for various marketing materials.
    • Exceptional Writing Skills: Ability to understand stakeholders’ requirements and craft clear, concise, and engaging copy tailored to different audiences and marketing channels.
    • Creative Thinking: Capacity to generate original ideas and concepts for both visual designs and written content that effectively communicate marketing messages.
    • Brand Awareness: Understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to maintain brand consistency across all design and copy assets.
    • Photography/Videography (desirable, but not mandatory): The ability to be our in-house photographer/videographer and undertake training or employee videos and simple photography.
    • Communication Skills: Effective communication with all stakeholders to understand project requirements, present design and copy ideas, and collaborate on project and marketing campaigns successfully.
    • Time Management Skills: Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills to effectively manage internal and external requests and deadlines

     

    • Graphic Design Experience: A strong background in graphic design is essential, typically demonstrated through a portfolio showcasing previous design work. This may include experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software, along with a proven track record of creating visually appealing designs for various marketing materials.
    • Copywriting Experience: Demonstrated experience in copywriting is crucial, including a portfolio showcasing samples of written content for different marketing channels such as websites, social media, email campaigns, and printed materials.
    • Photography and Videography Skills: Experience in photography and videography, including proficiency in capturing high-quality images and videos, editing skills, and an understanding of composition techniques, is beneficial for in-house photography and videography tasks.
    • Experience with post-production software is beneficial

  • Purchase Ledger Administrator

    Purchase Ledger Administrator – Part time 16 hours

    This role is responsible for day to day running of the procurement/expense systems.

    • Reviewing supplier invoices and forwarding for approval
    • Scheduling supplier payments
    • Monitoring Employee expenses
    • Working with the finance director to streamline AP processes

    Requirements

    • Good understanding of finance processes
    • Proactive and analytical with keen attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Summer Watering Technician

    Summer Watering Technician (5/6 Month FTC)

    This is an independent role focusing on the watering and basic maintenance of the exterior plant displays for our clients in and around London during the summer period.

    1.Working as part of a successful team, you will be required to visit the offices of our clients, within London and the Home Counties to water the exterior plants.
    2. You will always be required to be of good presence; working discretely to minimize disruption and maintaining excellent customer relations with the clients.
    3. This position presents an excellent opportunity to work within exterior planting and design in the workplace, whilst delivering great customer satisfaction.
    4. Basic weeding of the external plants and ensure a clean and tidy finish.
    5. Using and understanding a water meter and basic sprays.

  • Lead Installation Technician

    Lead Installation Technician, Full-time

    This role is responsible for installing interior and exterior plants in containers into our clients’ workplaces and corporate spaces. Around 80% of our installations are in the London area, but we also travel nationwide from our base in Essex. We work for corporate clients who expect a high-quality, professional service.
    This role requires a level of physical fitness to move and install planters and plant displays. Our projects can take several days, so our technicians may on occasions stay away from home overnight within the UK.

    The Role

    The Lead Technician has additional responsibility for coordinating installation project work and problem solving onsite during the installations.
    1.     To perform site surveys in advance of more complex projects
    2.     To co-ordinate and work as part of a team to complete installations
    3.     To champion company procedures and motivate colleagues to follow
    4.     To confidently communicate with clients during installation process
    5.     To proactively identify potential challenges onsite and discuss with the line manager to find resolutions
    6.     To accurately use handheld devices to record work progress and follow required procedures to ensure the installation process is successful and delivered in a timely way
    7. To follow all required health & safety processes

    Requirements:

    Installation Technician, Full-time

    This role requires a level of physical fitness to move and install planters and plant displays. Our projects can take several days, so our technicians may on occasions stay away from home overnight within the UK.

    • Full time, permanent role, working 5 days a week, including regular Saturday workCore hours will usually be 5am to 2pm, but later finishes may be required.Some overtime opportunities will be available
